VICTORIOUS SAINTS DELIVERANCE CHURCH
FAITH STATEMENT
As a ministry we believe:
1. In the total inspiration and inherency of the Bible as the word of God. 2 Tim.3:16-17. 2 Pet.1:20.
2. That the Bible is final on all issues of religion, worship and life in general. Ps.119:89,142,160. Matt.24:35. Mark 13:31. Luke 21:33.
3. In the Genesis account of creation. That the Eternal God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. Gen.1:1-31, 2:1-25.
4. The Living God is in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and yet one God. Matt.28:19. 1 John 5:7
5. That both our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are equally divine like the Father. Matt.28:19
6. That through Adam’s sin the entire human race fell and so all human beings are born as sinners and remain so until they become saved through faith in the atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. Rom.3:23, 5:12.
7. That salvation is available only through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. John. 14:6, Acts.4:12.
8. In the power of the Cross of Christ to set human beings totally free from sin and its consequences, including sickness, poverty, untimely death and every evil. Rom.6:14, 22.
9. In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the biblical evidence of speaking in tongues and that the Holy Spirit endues the believers with power to work the works of God today like He did through our Lord Jesus Christ when He was here on earth. Acts.1:8,2:1-4,10:40-45. John 14:12. Heb.13:8. Mark 16:16-18.
10. That holiness is important and without it no man shall see the LORD. Heb.12:14. 1 Thess.3:13, 4:7. Rom.6:19,22. 1 Pet.1:15-16.
11. That the church universal has the task of world evangelism to reach the world before the second coming of Christ. Matt.28:18-20. Mark 16:15-20.
12. In the bodily resurrection of Christ from the dead and the resurrection of the dead on the last day. Matt.28:1-10. Mark 16:1-14. Luke 24:1-16. John 20:1-14.
13. In the imminent rapture of the Church and the second coming of Christ, followed by the 1000 years of peaceful millennium reign of Christ on earth. This time the earth shall have a foretaste of heaven. 1 Thess.4:14-18. Rev. 20:1-6.
14. In the new heavens and the new earth and the eternal reign of God over all of creation. Isa.65:17, 66:22. 1 Pet.3:13.
